The former Dutch frigate Hr.Ms. Van Nes. As part of the Karel Doorman-class laid down on 10 January 1990, launched on 16 May 1992, commissioned on 2 June 1994, decommissioned on 20 December 2007 and handed over to Portugal on 16 January 2009.
